Chastain Fitzgerald

Ms. Chastain Fitzgerald has more than 25 years of experience working in the field of international development and global health, and spent 10 years working and living in Mali, Zambia, Uganda and Togo. Prior to joining WomanCare Global, Ms. Fitzgerald was the VP of Strategic Partnerships and BD at Population Services International (PSI). During her time with PSI, Ms. Fitzgerald was twice a country director in Africa, and later led global efforts to engage with donors and foundations. Ms. Fitzgerald also maintained an integral role in the technical side of PSI’s family planning program and was the project director of a large, centrally-funded USAID family planning grant. Prior to her time at PSI, Ms. Fitzgerald ran a famine relief program with the United Nations and USAID, did program analysis for USAID and the World Bank, and served as a Foreign Service officer. Ms. Fitzgerald holds a Masters in International Public Health from George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University.
